Mike Berry again, your bike escort over the last few miles (pictured! :-) Two things:
1. You totally inspired me. My RAAM volunteer recap created excitement in the Annapolis Tri Club for a 2010 team and I definitely want to be more involved in 2009. Most surprisingly (to me) is that RAAM solo is now my 5-20 year ultimate athletic goal. To steal a phrase I heard somewhere else: you’ve changed what I thought was possible. That is a gift of incalculable value. Thank you!
2. The excellent local tri magazine, Tri DC, asked me to submit my volunteer recap for the fall issue. You play a big part in it and I was hoping to get a brief update of the time since the race. If it’s not too much trouble, will you please get in touch (MikeB@triannapolis.org)?
